Privacy Notes

This prototype stores game progress, stats, streaks, and completed puzzles in your browser's local storage. It does not require an account.

The current static version stores gameplay data locally. Hosting may provide aggregate traffic metrics, and Rankle's gameplay analytics wrapper is limited to allowlisted events that avoid guess text, email addresses, user IDs, and free-form feedback.

Stored Locally

• Current puzzle guesses and hint count.
• Played count, wins, streaks, and guess distribution.
• Completion state for archive puzzles.

Analytics

Custom gameplay analytics remain disabled until a privacy-friendly provider is selected. If enabled later, this page should name the provider, events, retention policy, and opt-out behavior.

Submissions

If you use the Submit page on a hosted build, your puzzle idea may be sent to the hosting provider’s form handler for storage. Local previews can draft an email instead.
